WEBINAR: Scholar Activist Encounter: Ched Myers and Chuck Collins

CLBSJ is excited to welcome CLBSJ co-founder Ched Myers in dialogue with inequality.org’s Chuck Collins for a deep dive into the problem of plutocracy. They will explore the intersection of their new books on this subject, both written under the shadow of the plutocratic politics that are currently colonizing the U.S. Ched will overview his Healing Affluenza, Resisting Plutocracy: Luke’s Jesus and Sabbath Economics, to which Chuck wrote the Foreword. Chuck will discuss his just-released volume Burned by Billionaires: How Concentrated Wealth and Power Are Ruining Our Lives and Planet. These two friends will then explore how biblical critique, social analysis and political organizing can conspire to animate current resistance to a toxic, run-away “broligarchy.” Register for the event here!
